Chief Marty A. Sumner (retired, 2016) served 30 years as a law enforcement officer with the High Point Police Department. He was responsible for the research, development, and execution of the highly effective Offender Focused Domestic Violence Intervention (OFDVI) strategy still in service internationally today. Sumner currently serves as Senior Deputy Commissioner of the Fraud Control Group at the N.C. Department of Insurance. (NCDOI).
