Emily Thibeault is a domestic violence survivor and youngest daughter of Jennifer Magnano, who was murdered by her estranged husband after many years of extreme coercive control and abuse. Emily shares her story to raise awareness around domestic violence and advocates for law reform. She and her siblings have worked tirelessly to pass two important domestic violence laws in their mother’s name – Jen’s Law and Jennifers’ Law that provides better protections for victims. Emily is currently collaborating on an animated documentary about her family’s story titled, Jennifer, 42, as well as a companion podcast.
