Kelsey McKay is a highly recognized national expert on the topic of criminal asphyxiation, interpersonal violence and complex cases including trafficking, child abuse and sexually motivated crimes. She was a prosecutor for 12 years, handling sex crimes, domestic violence, child abuse and homicide. She trains and consults nationally to help communities identify, develop and implement sustainable protocols through multi-disciplinary collaboration. Her focus on complex investigations and dynamics provides evidence-based solutions that facilitate a more trauma-informed response to crime. She is the President & CEO of RESPOND Against Violence, a non-profit organization moving awareness into action. She also serves on multiple faculties, advisory boards, and committees.
