Bethany Jantzi

Bethany Jantzi is a coercive control consultant and mental health professional, holding an MSc in the Psychology of Coercive Control. She is passionate about helping people understand the intricate mechanisms of coercive control and believes that every person has a right to live free from coercion, abuse, and control. Her research explored high control groups and the weaponization of religious texts as a form of coercive control against women. Other areas of interest are trauma-coerced attachment, grooming, and adult clergy sexual abuse. Bethany’s writing has been published in the academic journal Priscilla Papers, as well as Mutuality Magazine.
