Ena Miller is a freelance broadcast journalist, long-form audio storyteller and producer whose journalism has explored domestic abuse, gender, mental health, immigration, race and social inequality. Her stories have appeared widely across BBC Radio Four, World Service, Online, TV News and podcasts, as well as Channel 4 News. Her work has sparked national debate about identity and mental health. Ena’s journalism is recognised for its depth, sensitivity and focus on people’s lived experiences.
Driven by a commitment to under-represented and marginalised communities, Ena gives voice to those often overlooked by mainstream narratives and isn’t fazed by the complex and painful subjects she tackles. Her portfolio includes “He Chose Porn Over Me, Runaway Mothers, Colourism in Children, Narcissistic Mothers, The Emotional Cost of Caring and Dissociative Identity Disorder,” the latter earning her a Mind Media Award nomination and praise as “gold-standard” reporting. In her recent investigation, “The Silence of Domestic Spiking” commissioned by Channel 4 News and aired in April 2025, Ena uncovered a major data gap in the UK’s policy and political landscape revealing how drugs are used as a form of control within intimate relationships and how systemic blind spots continue to leave survivors unprotected. Based in London with more than a decade of experience, Ena uses rigorous, creative storytelling to challenge stigma and bring hidden experiences to light.
