Lauri Jensen-Campbell

Psychologist and Researcher

Dr. Lauri Jensen-Campbell is the Executive Vice President of Research and Innovation at The Archway (formerly SafeHaven of Tarrant County) and an Emeritus Professor of Psychology at the University of Texas at Arlington. Her work connects academic research with community practice, focusing on intimate partner violence, coercive control, and survivor-centered risk assessment. A Fellow of the Association for Psychological Science, Dr. Jensen-Campbell has received several awards for research and teaching excellence, including the UT System Regents’ Outstanding Teaching Award.

She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications on peer victimization and aggression. She is currently leading large-scale projects aimed at identifying dominant aggressors, predicting lethality risk, redefining how recidivism is measured, and understanding suicide and murder-suicide in intimate partner relationships to improve survivor safety and advance justice outcomes
