Liat Wexler

Survivor Advocate and Speaker

Liat Wexler has worked to end relationship and sexual violence for 25 years in community-based and higher education settings. At UC Berkeley’s PATH to Care Center, they lead primary prevention efforts among employees: collaborating with academic and administrative departments to develop practices, policies, pedagogy, events, spaces, campaigns, and skills that shift culture to stop power-based harm before it begins.

Liat speaks nationally on transformative justice, the neurobiology of trauma, dynamics of partner abuse within the LGBTQIA+, polyamorous, and BDSM/kink communities, and the holistic assessment of partner abuse. They have trained hundreds of DV & SA confidential advocates for certification and frequently consult with organizations on equity and inclusion.
