Amanda Elkanick Oder is the Chief Advocacy and Education Officer at Texas Advocacy Project, a statewide nonprofit law firm providing free legal and social services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking. A nationally recognized leader in the movement to end abuse, Amanda brings over 20 years of experience in program development, public policy, and systems advocacy.
She leads statewide training initiatives, advances legislative strategies, and builds enduring cross-sector partnerships to expand access to justice. Amanda regularly presents at national and statewide conferences and serves on multiple task forces focused on legal reform, systems advocacy, coordinated community response to violence, and maternal health equity.
